Composed of 52 LED monitors and three 77-inch LCD panels, Tocquigny’s video installation at Teradata’s 2010 PARTNERS Conference in San Diego focused on the concept of “The Socialization of Data” to track and inform conference attendees. At any point, attendees could see a real-time heat map that displayed where people were gathering at the conference, as well as view data from 25 unique multi-form sources, including YouTube, Flickr, Twitter, stock market indexes, polling results, and points of interest, such as the geographic representations of registrants’ home cities.
