ASP.NET Developer

Tocquigny is searching for a skilled and detail oriented ASP.NET web application developer with proficiencies in CSS, Javascript, and SQL Server. We are looking for .NET developers with significant web experience. A solid understanding of CSS and Javascript is required.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand client sites utilizing .NET(c#) and SQL Server platform.

  • Implementing new functionality and new applications to exisiting client sites.

  • Assisting small team of developers with enhancing, maintaining, supporting, and testing existing public websites and new web applications (ASP.Net)


  • Additional desired skills:
  • Experience with Ektron CMS is a BIG plus.

  • Experience with design and deployment of ASP.NET applications using SQL server.

  • Experience administering IIS 6.0+

  • Proficiency with XML and XSL

  • Experience with Ajax and Javascript, including jQuery

  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, multi-project environment

  • Excellent organization and communication skills

If you're passionate about concepting, designing, and producing electronic direct marketing communications -- including websites, microsites, banner ads, landing pages, and email campaigns -- then keep reading.

    Required proficiencies::
    • Experience with Adobe CS3, including demonstrated proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator; InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks a plus.
    • Strong HTML and CSS skills.
    • Familiarity with SEO methodologies and best practices.
    • Solid online portfolio displaying your design, production, and strategic thinking skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and show a variety of options within tight deadlines -- both independently and as part of a team.
    • Macintosh proficiency; Windows experience helpful.
    • Formal design training with a bachelor's degree in graphic design or related specialty.
    • Two to 10 years' full-time experience in web design, preferably in a marketing or advertising capacity.
