You will perform general accounting, finance and adminstrative tasks. As an Art Direction Intern at Tocquigny, you will get an inside look at the creation, design, and production of different projects across multiple media — primarily print, online, and video. You will also learn key best practices through hands-on experience.

Requirements:

  • Must be a junior, senior, or graduate student
  • Must be able to work approximately 12-15 hours per week
  • Must have student or professional work samples (printed, Web-based, or PDFs) for review
  • Must be enrolled in or have completed in an intermediate or advanced portfolio class
  • Proficiency in (or working knowledge of) Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Solid design skills and a creative approach to projects
  • The ability to research stock photography sites for client and agency needs

Press checks, mounting boards, interacting with vendors — all the critical tasks that keep a world-class agency running smoothly.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pre-flight and preparation of files prior to printing
  • Image retouching, compositing, color correction
  • Conduct on site press checks
  • Organize and maintain production room
  • Maintain organized file structures on team servers

Qualifications:

Tocquigny is looking for a Media Intern. As a Media Intern at Tocquigny, you will assist the media team and perform the tasks of an assistant media planner/buyer. At Tocquigny, you will gain a well-rounded understanding of media buying and planning, as well as agency and media processes. Tocquigny is seeking a talented UX Designer to articulate website vision, wireframe concepts, diagram workflow, shape informational hierarchies, design interaction models, and shepherd projects through visual design and development. Working as a member of our Strategy group your role will influence the entire project lifecycle, but will focus heavily on user experience design.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, lead, research, analyze and test user-centered activities and apply the findings into cohesive site maps, information architectures, wireframes, personas, user journeys, and functional specifications
  • Generate concepts and site structure definitions as well as task/process flows
  • Direct UX-based projects to refine, develop and enforce interface design, branding and UX best practices
  • Generate user profiles, test scenarios and solution prototyping
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to create professional and engaging user experiences for website interface and online communications
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of competitive and complementary products and experiences
  • Support new business initiatives through assembly of pitch assets and presentations

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as a UX professional, focusing on information architecture, usability testing, personas and user scenarios.
  • At least 3 years of experience creating standard user experience deliverables such as site maps, process flows, personas, use cases, concept models, wireframes and interactive prototypes
  • Demonstrated understanding of key principles of interactive workflow
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various team members and customers
  • Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity, with a passion for the challenges around organizing it
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within pre-defined processes
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Capable front-end coding skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery) is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field is required
